WHAT TYPES OF ITEMS DO YOU ACCEPT?
The Attic Door accepts women's clothing and accessories as well as furniture and household items. All items are taken in by appointment, which you can make right over the phone or in person at the store.
DO YOU ONLY ACCEPT SEASONAL ITEMS?
Our seasons are as follows:
Spring: February Summer: April
Fall: August Winter: October
Household items are seasonal as well. Ask your associate when making the appointment what we are currently accepting.

WILL YOU ACCEPT EVERYTHING I BRING IN?
The Attic Door is committed to maintaining a higher quality of merchandise. We are particular about what we will accept. Please don't ever be offended if we refuse something, but our customers preference must be our guidelines. We do have a limit of between 15 - 20 clothing items per visit. We will also accept your women's accessories or household items. If you have a question about a certain item, please ask the associate when making your appointment.
WHO PRICES THE ITEMS I BRING IN?
The Attic Door prices the items you bring in. If you have a certain price you would like on an item, please let the associate know at the time the items are dropped off. Otherwise, it is at the discretion of The Attic Door associate to set the price.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN MY ITEMS HAVE SOLD?
Once an items is sold, the proceeds go directly to your account. You may call at any time to check on your items. Payout for items sold is between the 15th and 22nd of each month. You may use the credit on your account at any time during the month.
DO I GET MY UNSOLD ITEMS BACK?
If you would like your unsold items back you may pick them up on or before the end of your consignment period which is 60 days. The exact pick-up date will be listed on the inventory sheet you may pick-up within 24 hours of dropping off your items. You are responsible for keeping track of and retrieving your own items. The Attic Door does not pull unsold or expired items for the consignors.

WHO CAN CONSIGN AT YOUR STORE?
Anyone is welcome to consign. We have consignors who travel from Orland Park, Orland Hills, Palos Park, Palos Hills, Mokena, Frankfort, Country Club Hills, Matteson, Richton Park, Homer Glen, Lockport, Lemont, Monee, Peotone, Manhattan, Manteono, New Lenox, Bolingbrook, Joliet, Bourbonnais and many from Indiana.

At The Attic Door we carry many consigned items as well as new items. We also have a line of new furniture that is available for special order. We are a unique blend of new and consigned items providing something for everyone!
The Attic Door accepts Visa, MasterCard, cash and personal checks up to $50.00.
